Description :
Kerala University MPhil Admission 2019 - Online applications are invited from eligible candidates for the Entrance Examination for admission to M.Phil. Programme in Statistics. The selection will be based on the aggregate score of the candidate obtained for M.Sc. Statistics, entrance examination and interview with a weightage of 50%, 40% and 10% respectively. Degree Programme of one-year duration in the University Teaching and Research Departments, University of Kerala, University College, Thiruvananthapuram and Lakshmi Bai National College of Physical Education, Kariavattom for the academic year 2019-20. Eligibility Criteria :
Candidates for admission to the M. Phil Programme shall have a Masters degree or professional degree declared equivalent the Masters degree by the corresponding statutory regularly body, with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade "B" in the UGC 7-point scale (or an equivalent grade in a foreign educational institution accredited by an Assessment and Accreditation Agency which is approved, recognized or authorized by an authority, established or incorporated under a law in its home country or any other statutory authority in that country for the purpose of assessing. A relaxation of 5% of marks from 55% to 50%or an equivalent relaxation in the case of grade, may be allowed for those belonging to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy lawyer)/Differently abled and other categories of candidates as per the decision of the UGC from time to time, or those who had obtained their Master's Degree prior to 19th September 1991.
